I love white walls in the right room but with a wh I love white walls in the right room but with a white bed in here they just felt โ€ฆ boring. I tried adding picture frame molding and painting the trim a slight contrast color and I tried to convince myself it was fine so I didnโ€™t have to paint againโ€ฆ but really it was just a little less boring. Iโ€™ve been looking for new nightstands for like 3 Iโ€™ve been looking for new nightstands for like 3 months and was about to buy a pair for $700 when I found a matching set with lots of potential at the Goodwill! They were in good shape but a little orange for my liking. So I stripped them, only to find out that they were made of multiple different wood types and they took stain differently. So, I ended up using multiple stains ( Jacobean, American Walnut, Espresso) to get an even-ish look. I cleaned and rub-n-buffed the hardware and saved myself enough money to justify a splurgey purchase thatโ€™s arriving in a few weeks! #thriftedstyle #goodwillfinds
