The Lookalike List: CB2 Marble Fluted Bowl
I come across all sorts of โdupesโ or lookalike items in my line of work. And, while I have mixed feelings about copycat designs โฆ I also feel like the people who canโt afford the original version of something wonโt buy it anyway, while the people who can afford the O.G. most likely will. So, why not share some more affordable options? This week’s lookalike is a bowl that is so trendy I might even venture to call it viral. It’s a scalloped marble bowl that I’ve seen in Julia Marcum of Chris Loves Julia’s study, and in homes by Shea McGee. It’s lovely, but the CB2 version that designers love costs around $300, which is, um, a lot for a bowl. The good news? I’ve found a cheaper version. A couple cheaper versions, actually! The closest match is an Amazon find in the photo, below, but I’ve also listed a few others at the end of the post.
