The best Amazon home decor [2023] Plus how to find it

My breakfast nook, with Amazon cafe curtains and curtain rods

Amazon makes it easy to find lots of things, like basic household essentials and wedding registry items for friends. But finding the best Amazon home decor can be a bit of a challenge. It’s not that Amazon doesn’t have great home decor, it’s just that finding the good stuff in the millions of listings can take some time.

Shopping for home decor isn’t like buying a pair of socks or a toothbrush. There’s not only quality to think about, but style. Also size. And price. Instead of being overwhelmed by the shear number of options on Amazon, or giving up when you don’t find what you’re looking for after a few searches, I’ve broken down all the best home decor on Amazon – from furniture, to wall art, to pillows and lighting.

After writing about home decor for more than 10 years and decorating five of my own homes in the last seven years, I’ve had to unearth my fair share of Amazon finds (including tracking down lots of dupes on Amazon), and lets just say it’s a muscle I’m comfortable exercising at this point.

Trust me, the good stuff is there, and there’s a good chance you’ll be able to get it in just a few days.

The best home decor on Amazon: 39 lighting, furniture, wall art, and home essential finds

Below I’ve picked 39 of my favorite home decor finds on Amazon, and then keep scrolling to learn more about my favorite items.

After browsing these finds, Amazon might just become one of your favorite online furniture stores.

(Shop my Amazon storefront for a regularly updated selection of my favorite Amazon home decor.)

1. White ceramic vase set

This cute trio of vases would be perfect grouped together on a coffee table, or arranged separately around built-ins.

2. Rivet midcentury stool

A tip? Click through to Amazon’s in-house furniture brands, like Rivet, to see a whole bunch of stylish decor and furniture, like this x-bench stool. I’d pair two at the base of a bed.

3. Art deco dome lamp

I love a lamp that looks way more expensive than it is. This black-domed version is right on trend, but the price comes in at only $62. This lamp would be perfect on a desk, but has a sculptural-enough quality to display on a bookcase or sofa table, sort of like art in its own right.

4. Wooden bread bowl

Wooden bread bowls are a versatile and beautiful home decor must have. You can use them as serving pieces for, yes, bread (just put a folded tea towel at the bottom first), or so displaying succulents or a ” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener nofollow”>thick strand of beads.

5. Vase-filler beads

Speaking of beads! These ones are beautiful and a fraction of the price that I’ve seen them at other places.

6. Coffee Table Book

This is my favorite coffee table book! It’s so full of inspiring spaces, and literally every page is more beautiful than the next. It’s a coffee table book you’ll want to read, not just look at on a shelf (I’m not the only one who buys coffee table books just because the spine is pretty, right?)

7. Wine carafe

Technically, this isn’t really home decor, but this carafe is so pretty you could probably leave it out on a shelf and people would think it was a fancy vase. I especially love the spherical oak stopper.

8. Beige marble bookends

These contemporary bookends are made of marble, and look very high-end … but they only cost $15 for the pair. I’ve seen marble bookends like this go for triple the price (or more) so these are a steal.

9. Boucle swivel chair

The boucle chair trend is a few years old now, but it’s still going strong (and I still love it). This compact boucle accent chair would be perfect in the corner of a bedroom, or as a pair opposite a sofa in a living room.

10. Pampas grass stems

Pampas grass is popular because it’s neutral so it goes with pretty much any decor, and it adds a natural (and funnn) texture to any space. It’s also another big home decor trend that just keeps on giving. I love the way it looks in a large glass jug.

11. Cone shade pendant light

Another item that looks a lot more expensive than it is! This simple pendant light features a cone-shaped ceramic lampshade suspended from a rust-colored wire. It would make a cute pick for above the kitchen sink, or suspended on either side of a bed instead of table lamps.

12. Textured terracotta pot

This little terracotta pot is just like the ones for sale on sites like Terrain and McGee & Co but, you guessed it, it’s less expensive.

13. Black wall sconces

These sconces look almost identical to the ones I purchased from Visual Comfort for our powder room renovation. The ones I bought were polished nickel, and cost about $300 each. If I were looking for a black version though, these would be a no-brainer!

14. Leather napkin rings

A set of four leather napkin rings adds effortless style to a casual table setting. This also makes a fun gift idea!

15. Seagrass storage baskets

This set of seagrass storage baskets comes with a large and small size. Use them as stylish storage in a closet or pantry, or as standalone decor on a shelf or console.

16. Framed canvas art

Amazon seller MuDecor offers more than 30 framed print options in two sizes. FYI, while shipping is free, it takes a couple of weeks.

17. Marble vase

I love the shape of this pint-sized marble vase! It’s a fun take on a staple item that you can use to display flowers (of course), but also as part of a vignette on a nightstand or coffee table.

18. Cafe curtains

How to find the best Amazon home decor

As I mentioned, finding the best home decor on Amazon can take some patience. But if you’re short on patience and looking for a hack, there’s one of those, too! I found out about this Amazon app feature way too late in life, especially for someone who loves to shop.

I’ve detailed it in my post on how to find dupes on Amazon, but basically, in the search bar of the Amazon app, there’s a visual search button. When you click it, you can upload a photo of a product you’re looking for, and the app will show you all of the similar-looking results. Genius!
