Moodboard Monday: A Neutral, Fresh Traditional Bedroom

Today’s Moodboard Monday is actually a mockup I created while planning my primary bedroom refresh last month. I started by painting the room Sherwin Williams Alabaster, a creamy off white shade. (It was previously Behr Perfect Taupe), so I wanted to take the space in a slightly more organic, fresh traditional direction.

This isn’t the exact moodboard I ended up using for our room, but I loved it so much I wanted to share.

I started with the rug as inspiration, then tied it in with black nightstands. The dresser and ceramic planter brought in some organic texture, which is balanced out by the tailored polish of the mirror and sconces. Finally, the bench and pillow added a touch of pattern and underscored the overall color palette.

If you like it as much as I did, you can shop the look, below!
