Serena & Lily Outlet 101 PLUS How To Shop If You Don’t Live Near One

My dream is to live near one of the Serena & Lily outlets. Right now, there are only four of them around the country, and none of them happen to be near Connecticut. I’ve actually contemplated planning vacations close by these gorgeous warehouses of off price coastal goods.

Instead, I have found a way to shop the Serena & Lily outlets that does not require living on the West Coast or in the South, which I’m about to tell you all about.

But first, let’s get the 411 on the real Serena & Lily outlets, in case you’re lucky enough to live near one.

What and where are the Serena and Lily Outlets?

Serena & Lily currently operates four official outlet stores. There are two in California, where Serena & Lily is headquartered, one in South Carolina, and one in Florida. They’re located in:

Each Serena & Lily outlet is stocked with products that are either overstocked, floor samples, returns, or discontinued items, which are then sold at a discount.

According to Serena & Lily, they stock:

• An assortment of furniture, upholstery, bedding, rugs, pillows, wallpaper, lighting and décor.
• Products available include photography samples, second quality, and first-quality overstock items.

A few other good things to note if you plan to visit the Serena & Lily outlet in person:

• Payment method is touchless, credit card only, no cash accepted.
• Product must be taken at time of purchase. They do have the ability to hold product.
• They do not offer shipping or delivery of product. Transportation and loading should be arranged by the customer.
• All sales are final

How big is the discount at the Serena and Lily Outlets?

Discounts are legit. Unlike those big premium outlet retailers, where clothing and decor is often manufactured specifically for the outlet location, the Serena & Lily outlets sell returned items, overstock, and floor samples that they can’t sell at full price or no longer need.

Prices are generally marked down 40-50%. Discounts can be even bigger when the stores run specials on certain items they want to get rid of, or have warehouse/sidewalk sales.

How to shop the Serena & Lily Outlets Online

Of course, the best thing would be to live right near a Serena & Lily Outlet. But if you don’t, you can find some of these outlet items online.

While Serena & Lily doesn’t have a dedicated online outlet store, there are a number of re-sellers that offer Serena & Lily outlet items for purchase online.

These sellers add a markup to what they paid at the outlet so they can make money, but you’ll still end up getting items for less that what you’d pay full retail

I’ve found a few of these resellers via Facebook marketplace or just doing my own searching for S&L deals online.

Here’s where to look!

Mercari.

Your best bet is Mercari. Mercari is an online secondhand retailer, and while individuals can sell used furniture here, there are a number of sellers on the site that list lots of furniture from the Serena & Lily outlet, including:

The Coastal Home – This seller is a beast. They’ve currently got more than 700 listings on Mercari, and most are for Serena & Lily pieces at a major discount.

Doodles 523 – Another seller that has lots of off-price S&L items. Most are smaller things like bedding, crib skirts, and wallpaper.

The HD Outlet

The HD outlet is an independent furniture re-seller that exclusively sells Serena & Lily items. At the time of writing, they’re offering free shipping, which adds to the discount you’ll get, since S&L shipping can get pricey.

Ebay

Ebay also has a selection of Serena & Lily items at a discount. Some are from individual sellers, and other, again, are from larger sellers with multiple listings that appear to be outlet items.

What stores are like Serena & Lily?

If you want the Serena & Lily look but don’t want to pay full price, you can also consider shopping stores like Serena & Lily but cheaper.

Lots of larger retailers have started keying in to the popularity of Serena & Lily, so you’ll find similar items at places like:

• Target – check the Studio Mcgee line, specifcially
• HomeGoods, they usually have a coastal-inspired decor section
• Wayfair’s Beachcrest home collection offers a coastal vibe. some of the decor is a bit more “old lady” coastal, but you’ll find some S&L dupes in there, too
• Safavieh – which is a brand, not a store, is the maker of a lot of the coastal decor dupes you’ll see at major retailers, including the dupe Riviera chair, which I have for my outdoor patio.

Shop S&L Dupes
