A Visit to Stoffer Home, Grand Rapids

I love me some Jean Stoffer. Out of any of the Instagram-famous interior designers out there, her style is the one that most resonates with me. It’s classic, but fresh, and it feels polished but still inviting and comfortable. We also share a great love of earth tones, and green/blue.
So, when I flew into Grand Rapids for the first time ever a few years ago on the way to visit family in Michigan, I planned to stop by her shop, Stoffer Home, and was devastated (to put it dramatically) that it was closed that day.
This summer, however, I got a second chance to visit Stoffer Home when we were visiting family once again, and staying at a lake about 45 minutes south of Grand Rapids ..and it was just as gorgeous as I’d imagined.
The space, first of all, is on a quaint little street called Wealthy Street (because what else would it be called?), and it sits amidst a row of cute shops and cafes, including the adjacent Bradbury Cafe, also owned by Stoffer family. The outside of the store is always decorated for the season (as you can see in the photo at the top), and the front windows let in a ton of natural light.
Just inside, there is a wall of accent items that are perfect gift ideas (I bought a cute little frame and candle for a gift while I was there). Then, toward the back there’s a full-size kitchen display, which shows off Jean’s cabinetry line, and makes for an adorable setup for some of the kitchenware they sell.

There was also lots of decor, including IRL displays of things I’ve seen on the Stoffer Home website. They had lots of throw pillows, kitchen items, blankets, etc., as well as sample pieces from all of their collabs, like the furniture line with Cloth & Co.

It literally felt like stepping into Jean’s Instagram account, and quite frankly, made me want to completely redo my house. I probably could have spend tens of thousands of dollars in that store, but I ended up spending just around $100, on a candle, a stuffed pig for my daughter, and a picture frame that was a gift. Prices we about what you’d expect at any boutique. The candle was the most expensive thing I bought, at $40 ish.
What is Stoffer Home?

Stoffer Home is the retail arm of interior designer Jean Stoffer’s business. She’s renown on Instagram for her classic, fresh, and tailored style, and her gorgeous kitchen designs. Stoffer Home sells a curated range of some of Jean’s favorite things, including pillows, furniture, kitchenware, art, decor, and rugs.
She also has a line of cabinetry and case goods.
Where is Stoffer Home located?
Stoffer Home is in downtown Grand Rapids, at 714 Wealthy Street SE.
The street has a bunch of other cute shops and cafes that make a visit to Stoffer Home a perfect day trip. My family and I stopped at the nearby!
Is Stoffer Home Worth Visiting?
Totally. If you’re a Jean Stoffer fan, or a design lover in general, and you’re in the Grand Rapids area, definitely stop by! Like I said, there are other shops and things in the neighborhood, and Grand Rapids in general is an amazing place for furniture, decor and antique lovers (more on that in another post!!)
