The Lookalike List: Circa Star Pendant

I come across all sorts of “dupes” or lookalike items in my line of work. And, while I have mixed feelings about copycat designs … I also feel like the people who can’t afford the original version of something won’t buy it anyway, while the people who can afford the O.G. most likely will. So, why not share some more affordable options? I plan to share new products I find every Tuesday, and I’ll link them all on my “Lookalike List” page so you can go back and reference them in case you miss anything.

I found the original version of this star-shaped Circa flush mount light when we were renovating our first floor. I LOVED it, but I needed three, which would end up costing around $1800, so I wrote it off because we had a lot of other things to spend that much money on. Until! I was looking on Amazon for flush mounts, and up popped a star-shaped light that was nearly identical to the Circa one. The Amazon one looked notably cheaper, thanks to the brushed-brass finish, however, I figured out a really cheap and easy solution for that: Rub-N-Buff! I used the Antique Gold color to add a little depth to the finish of the Amazon light and it’s perfect!
