8 Anthropologie Mirror Dupes for Way, Way Less

When I first saw the Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose mirror a few years back, I knew I had to have it. Then I saw the price tag. At over $1500 for the one I wanted, I knew what I really needed was an Anthropologie mirror dupe, instead.

As luck would have it, a few weeks later I was shopping at Target and saw a mirror that had a very similar shape to the Anthropologie mirror, but it was made out of wood. A few coats of gold spray paint and some Rub-n-Buff later, and I had myself an Anthropologie mirror dupe (see below).

Here’s the Target mirror post Rub-N-Buff / spray-paint, in a photo of my dining room right after we moved into our house. I really need to take a better photo!

If you, like me, love the look of the Gleaming Primrose mirror but can’t help but think about all the other stuff you could buy for over $1000, scroll on. Because I’ve gathered up all of the mirror dupes I could find, from the oh-so-cheap one that I bought from Target (they still have it), to dead ringers for $100-$250. There are dupes on Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, and more…

Also – if you live in or near CT, you can score one of these mirrors for 60% off at one of my favorite places of all time, Retail 101.

The best Anthropologie Mirror Dupes for any price point

No one will ever know.

1. Target mirror dupe

Target still makes the mirror I gilded, and it’s called the French Country mirror. It’s pretty cheap, at just $70. At the same time, it’s also simpler than the Anthropologie mirror, since it doesn’t have the rose detailing on the edges. If you like simple, this could be a good choice, but if not, keep scrolling!

2. Hobby Lobby Mirror

Hobby Lobby makes a mirror that looks almost identical to the Anthro mirror, but for about 20% of the price. This mirror is usually around $150, but often goes on sale for half price! You can’t beat that.

3. Kate & Laurel Mirror

This mirror by Kate & Laurel can be purchased at a few different retailers like Target and Wayfair, and it usually comes in at around $195. The mirror also comes in black along with the brushed gold color, if you want to switch it up a bit.

4. Home Decorator’s Collection Mirror

Who knew Home Depot could come through with some seriously stylish decor? The retailer’s Home Decorator’s Collection line is behind this Anthro mirror dupe that’s almost identical to the real thing, and at under $200. It measured 22.2 in. W x 41 in. H x 1.07 in. D.

5. Wayfair Christany Wall Mirror

This mirror from Wayfair store is a higher-end dupe (it costs around $250, depending on promotions) that looks well made, but still comes in under the cost of the original one from Anthro.

6. World Market Anthro Mirror Dupe

World Market has a number of mirrors that look a lot like the Gleaming Primrose, but this one is the most similar to the original. Like the Kate & Laurel mirror, it comes in both black and a gold color, so you can choose the one that’s best suited to your decor.

7. Amazon mirror dupe

This lovely version is from Amazon’s home decor assortment. It’s a bit heavier-looking that the Anthropologie one, which gives it a more romantic, traditional feel. It’s perfect for above a fireplace in a classic home.

8. Amazon mirror dupe 2

This Amazon mirror is another lovely alternative to the Anthropologie mirror. It’s clean-lined at the bottom but still features the telltale arch and flourish at the top.

How tall is the Anthropologie mirror?

The Anthropologie mirror comes in a few sizes: 3′, 5′, 6′ and 7′. The 6′ and 7′ mirrors are designed to be floor mirrors.

Can you hang the Anthropologie mirror?

The smaller sizes of the Anthropologie mirror can be hung on the wall, however the larger sizes (the 6 ft and 7 ft size) cannot. They are too large and heavy to be hung, and are designed to be leaning floor mirrors.
