15 Best Faux Fall Stems for 2025

I’m not a huge “literal” fall decorator. Meaning that, I don’t really do pumpkin motifs or “happy fall, ya’ll” signs. But what I do love is subtle fall decor. Things that allude to cozy season without smacking you in the face with it, like chunkier texture and warmer colors.

A must have for me, though, is faux fall stems—and seasonal stems in general. Swapping our my flowers, real and faux, is probably the number one way I decorate for any season. It’s easy, but it makes an impact.

If you’re in the same camp, consider this your subtle-fall starter pack: think textural branches, moody plums and browns, a few berries for movement, and greens that are just starting to “turn.” I swap stems the second the air feels different—it’s fast, high-impact, and low-commitment.

Fall Faux-Floral Styling Tips:

Here’s how I style them:

  • I generally stick to one style per vase, by that’s just my preference. If you mix stem styles, stick to a color palette of 1 or 2 shades.
  • Go bigger than you think: 5-7 stems in a floor vase, 3–5 on a console, 1–3 for nightstands.
  • Fluff them! Most faux florals need to be seriously fluffed when you pull them out of the box. Separate stems and leaves, similar to you’d do with a faux Christmas tree.
  • Bend the wired stems so they arc and criss-cross; trim bottoms with wire cutters so they “sit” naturally.
  • Pair with stoneware, terracotta, or matte black vessels for that cozy-but-chic vibe.
