26 Stylish Kitchen Faucets I Love

My busted faucet

Homeownership, man. A couple of weeks ago, we had a plumber at our house installing a new toilet and vanity in our kids bathroom. Literally 20 minutes after the plumber left, my husband went downstairs to turn on the kitchen sink, and the entire faucet broke off of the countertop. So now, our kitchen faucet sort of dangles haphazardly into the sink. Luckily, whatever plumbing that’s inside of it is still connected somehow, because the faucet can still be turned on, but it just doesn’t stand up straight.

Needless to say, I need a new kitchen faucet.

The busted kitchen faucet is a polished chrome, and while I actually liked the style of it (It’s the Rohl / Perrin & Rowe Edwardian Kitchen Faucet) I’m not really a fan of chrome finishes. When we moved in, most of the finishes in the kitchen were chrome and brushed nickel, but I’ve been slowly working those out. So, instead, I’m looking for a kitchen faucet that’s either brass or polished nickel (the two most timeless finishes, in my opinion).

Our faucet is a single-hole style with a separate sprayer, so that’s what I’m going to get, but if I could choose any faucet style, it would be a bridge faucet. I just love how old school and elegant they look. My all time favorite faucet (what, you don’t have a favorite faucet?) is the Rohl Acqui bridge kitchen faucet. I first spotted it when I wrote the blog for a kitchen design showroom about a decade ago, and it’s still such a classic. Not totally dissimilar to the style of Rohl faucet we have, but a bit more antique-inspired, I think.

Anyway, I’ve included both the faucets I’m considering for my own kitchen, as well as some that I just love in general, below, in case you’re here because you’re looking for your own kitchen faucet. I broke them up into the two finishes I’m considering, brass and polished nickel.

How to Choose a Kitchen Faucet

Faucets are actually a pretty big design feature in a kitchen, so here are a few of my tips for picking a good one:

Underscore the design of your space. What I mean by this is, your faucet should speak to the design of the rest of your kitchen,
