There are certain colors that just make you feel at peace, and Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe is one of those colors. I mean, even the name sounds soothing.

This pale blue-green hue is not just serene, it’s versatile. It’s the ideal color choice to escape the monotony of neutrals but still keep the tranquil feel. While it’s especially suited for bedrooms and bathrooms, the hue can be used all around the house (I even found a photo of it being used as a kitchen cabinet color, which you’ll see below).

So is Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe the right pick for your space? Here, we’ll look closer at this calming color, the undertones, and how to use it at home.

Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe Review

Healing Aloe is a fresh and soft color with a timeless appeal that can be used in any room. Its tranquil nature makes it ideal for a bedroom, nursery, and bathroom. However, Healing Aloe can make an excellent pick for the kitchen or the living room. Whether it is the cabinets or walls, be sure this uplifting color elevates the mood in the kitchen.

What color is Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe?

Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe is a light blue with hints of green and gray. Its green and gray undertones, make any room a serene sanctuary. Depending on the lighting conditions, the hue can skew towards either green or gray, so it’s best to try a paint sample to make sure it’s the color you’re after.

If you need light blue-green paint that looks almost like a neutral, it will be an ideal fit for your project. While Healing Aloe would be an obvious choice for a coastal-style home, it also works with traditional and transitional living spaces, as well as kids rooms and bathrooms in nearly any style.

If you want to update your house exterior and enhance the curb appeal, light blue is perfect for that purpose. When used as exterior paint Healing Aloe can look lighter than the swatches, appearing as a pale blue shade that borders on an off-white.

The LRV light reflectance value determines how dark or light the color is. This helps you make better decisions when comparing two similar colors. The higher the LRV is, the more light is reflected by the color. For reference, 0 is black, and 100 is white on the scale. Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe features an LRV of 68.25, classifying it as a lighter-depth color. It will reflect light making your home bright and roomier.

What are the undertones of Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe?

As I mentioned, Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe is a blue color with green, and gray undertones. The presence of gray helps ground the color, gives it a sense of sophistication, and keeps it from appearing too saturated or youthful..

At first glance, Healing Aloe looks like a soft blue with a touch of green. However, remember that the lighting can bring out the tones differently.

In north-facing rooms, Healing Aloe will tend toward a cool pale green. In the south-facing room, the color will look lighter and can feel washed out, appearing a bit more gray. Artificial LED lights make Healing Aloe look green.

Before you choose this color, it would be best to sample it in the desired room. I always recommend using Samplize peel-and-stick paint swatches to make paint sampling easier.

Is Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe Blue or Green?

While Healing Aloe can toe the line between green and blue, Benjamin Moore classifies Healing Aloe as a blue shade, calling it “A refreshing shade of light blue with notes of gray.” Personally, I also consider it to be a blue shade, but again, it can also look green in certain lights.
